History
The Committee of September 10, 2019, being President Rina Aranda, members Doris Alicia Sánchez, Nelson Hernández Carlos Guevara, Walter Vásquez, José Castro, Marlyn Castro.
Due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19 we have not done fundraising activities. In normal times we make parties to collect funds. We support our people in health and education areas.
That city has a particularity and is that it has two patrons saints. Logically, one is San Alejo, the other is San Jerónimo. When the time is normal they celebrate the festivities even with a carnival in the month of February, dedicated to San Jerónimo. While the parties dedicated to San Alejo are in July.
Works
As a Pro-Mejoram Committee of San Alejo we deliver a stretcher, a walker and a couple of crutches to the San Jerónimo Health House in San Alejo. The aid was accompanied by Mr. Roberto Hernández, Mr. Reynaldo and Dr. Carlos Henriquez on behalf of the Pro-Mejoriento Committee in Washington, and our president of the Committee in El Salvador Don Orlando Castro. The aid was received by Nurse Estela Morales. We will go ahead!
Our Pro-Mejoriento Committee of San Alejo delivered supplies and implements for the protection of the city's health unit; 750 surgical masks, 23 masks of protection and 1 team of exigeno through our President Orlando Castro were delivered, who was accompanied by members of the Committee's board, where they also shared a delicious refrigeration, celebrating the "Medical Day"
About us
We are a non -profit organization, made up of the communities of the municipality of San Alejo based in the Washington Metropolitan Area, in the United States, that we serve and collaborate with our people in El Salvador.
The San Alejo Pro-Mejoriento Committee based in the US capital once again prepares to bring help to those who need it most in our communities where we are originally.
We are a team of people with the same goal: work hard, manage funds and collaborations for the construction of the Retiro House.
